„If you need a roof over your head for a few days this is perfect for you. The staff was friendly, the area was quiet. The bedding was clean, the water was hot, and there were no bugs. There is a bit of a funky smell but nothing a bit of fabreeze couldn't tackle.“

„We had a great time at this unique place in the wilderness. This huge property was very peaceful and included a little pond and a creek (!). And it is perfectly located for visiting the “New River Gorge” Nation Park. The cabin is extremely cozy and rustic with lots of wood, impressive hunting decoration and authentic furniture. The kitchen and the bathroom were well maintained and neat. And we loved stargazing in the jacuzzi. “

„This is the second time I’ve stayed at the bungalow. It is near the river and quiet. You do have a train that comes by often, but it was to the thrill and amazement of my 10-year-old. We walked down to the river and fished a lot, which is only 100 yards from the bungalow. If you’re looking for granite countertops and an eight persons Jacuzzi, this might not be the place for you. „The "accuracy of this property" was not accurate because it was way more beautiful than the pictures I saw beforehand. The train roaring by a few times in the night...I thought I'd be upset by it. But the awesome late checkout, so chill welcoming feeling, meeting very cool John (host) and the incredible view made me not even remember it. I was only upset that I couldn't book more nights. :) “

„The owner of the house could not make it any better. I know some people have complained about the water that is just a part of living in rural West Virginia. The house is clean the owner provide you with snacks and coffee. They even left a little scavenger hunt for my kids. The property is close to a bunch of fishing spots and boat put in when I go back to the new river. I will stay here again.“

„My 2 sisters and I are in our early 70’s. After doing the Bridge Walk we wanted to spend the night somewhere unique and that is exactly what the Skoolies are. Very clean, modern and more spacious than you would expect in a school bus. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied, overall very nice. Only downside for us was outdoor spray showers with no enclosure (we washed off in bathroom sink). But would definitely stay again if occasion arises! Big thank you to Omar and Julie! “
