„We enjoyed our stay on Deer island, however the cost of the cleaning fee (which I normally have no issue paying) was a little disappointing when we were expected to clean more than I’ve ever been expected to clean at a VRBO or other rental. The rental itself was very pleasant but I would be hesitant to rent this one again because of the cleaning expectations. “

We only had one night on the way home and wanted to take a quick visit since I haven't been there in over 30 years. The Island has changed a lot. 1st we were dinged for 10 for access to drive to our rental. Situated on several private acres near the May River and Old Town, the farm features grazing pastures with horses, miniatures, chickens, and a loafing pot belly pig.
