„We are a family of 6. Kids ages range from 10 - 17 and this house was absolutely perfect for us. 2 decent sized bedrooms and 1 master with an ensuite. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom were very clean. The backyard had a great fire pit and overall the place was wonderful. We really enjoyed the fact that there were 2 lounge spaces which meant we could all hang out together whilst still having our own space (if you have teenagers you know what I mean!). „Every year, as a group of friends we meet in different locations. one of the biggest complaints of attendees is that there's not enough beds to sleep in. This year we found this location. Plenty of space inside and out. Isolation away from other houses and properties and enough beds to go around. We would definetly look to return to this location again. Thanks for hosting!“

„We enjoyed our stay at this very lovely house. It did not disappoint the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed, the game’s room/screening room was a very nice touch. I enjoyed a hot tub before retiring for the night. The back deck and fire pit provided a great space to spend time outdoors.“

„This cozy carriage house is the perfect location for visiting the area. It's a quick drive to beautiful beaches for long walks. Halfway between Grand Bend and Bayfield there's lots to do and see. We had terrific dinners at Paddington's Pub (Grand Bend) and The Black Dog Bistro (Bayfield). The carriage house is cozy and spotless. Suki is a wonderful hostess and had lots of suggestions for touring in the area. We highly recommend! Maureen and Dave“

„Our trip to the “Poplar Woods” was a perfect getaway for the US Memorial weekend with friends. Driving top down to the beach and hitting all the familiar shops was topped off by the perfect cottage that offered upscale accommodations with a homey atmosphere. The setting was so nicely tucked into the woods, but not so remote that a quick easy walk to town wasn’t possible. Every possible detail was thought of and executed without feeling overdone. We will definitely return.“

„This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home.“

„This is a clean, bright two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with a backyard. My wife and I were staying in town less for a vacation than for work, but for 2 to 6 young people in Grand Bend for a fun weekend or a few days off, this would be a great place to stay for easy access to the downtown and to the beach. Park the car and forget about it - you can walk where you need to go. The host was very responsive and conscientious.“

„We are a small group of quilters who organized a retreat using the space in the common room - it was spacious and well lit with natural light and pot lights. Everyone had their own bed and the four bathrooms were great! Overall the cottage is clean and spacious. Easy to locate and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Great hosts!“
