This classic Northwoods cabin is set on a heavily wooded lot with 150 feet of private shoreline on crystal-clear Ham Lake, offering a peaceful, family-friendly setting that’s ideal for slowing down and spending time together.
Lake & Outdoor Living
Ham Lake is known for its exceptionally clear water and quiet atmosphere. Because there is no public boat access, the lake remains calm and uncrowded, making it especially enjoyable for swimming, paddling, fishing, and relaxing by the water.
Guests have access to a private dock with a bench, a favorite place for fishing, stargazing, or simply sitting and taking in the lake. The cabin provides a variety of lake equipment, including kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, rafts, a diving platform, and a rowboat-style fishing boat with a trolling motor.
A large wraparound deck overlooking the lake creates space for meals, morning coffee, and long afternoons outside. The covered portion of the deck allows you to stay outdoors during light rain or warm summer days. A firepit near the woods above the lake offers a quiet, natural spot for evening fires and conversation.
Inside the Cabin
Inside, the cabin is comfortable, well maintained, and thoughtfully arranged for families and multi-generational groups. The layout includes two bedrooms plus an open loft, along with shared living spaces that work well for meals, games, and relaxing after a day on the lake.
The kitchen is well stocked for preparing family meals, and the cabin includes games and indoor activities for downtime.
Location & Area
One of the advantages of this cabin is its accessibility. Ham Lake is approximately two hours from the Minneapolis metro, making it well suited for long weekends and shorter getaways.
The surrounding area offers quiet country roads for biking, nearby mountain bike trails, and easy access to ATV trails in summer and snowmobile trails in winter, providing year-round recreation beyond the lake.
