„My best friend, my sons, and my nephew gathered at Riverside Country Retreat for the weekend. The house was perfect: great bbq grill, fire pit and three cozy bedrooms! We Sat out by the fire and walked the trail to the river. Our rooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is a great place in close proximity to Brazos Bend State Park where we geocached and hiked. „The house was incredibly dirty. The towels smelled like they had not even been washed. The water was so horrible that once we turned it on we had to leave the house due to the overwhelming sulfur smell that filled the entire house. We are having to find a place to shower. I have pictures to prove just how bad the house was. “

„The house is spacious and generally in good repair. The internet is fast, the neighborhood is fine, and the house was clean and properly stocked. There were some issues though - the mattresses are quite uncomfortable, especially the master. There were air fresheners throughout, and at least one bedroom had a heavy pet odor. The grounds are in just ok shape and the yard while big is entirely empty - not a table or anything usable. All basic expectations met but with a little work could be much ...

„The house was cute and perfect location to the epic center. Lots of towels and bedding, limited on kitchen utensils (oven mitts, strainer, measuring cups), pots and pans. Beds we really comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again “
