„Such a beautiful gem! The manager was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were cosy, and the food was absolutely amazing- one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it truly lived up to our expectations. Just a small heads-up: the rooms didn’t come with toiletries, so make sure to bring your own. Would definitely recommend! So glad we stayed here. “

„The property is in the lap of nature surrounded by fruiting plants and peacocks. It's an excellent getaway from the hustle of fast-paced city life. The best part was the host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. As we arrived, he plucked fresh passion fruits from his garden and made juice for us. „Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. „We were extremely pleased with our stay at Pura Sanda Villa. We were a party of five adults (mostly women) and two young kids and we stayed for 4 nights. Our hosts were friendly, loving, attentive and respectful. The matron/owner Dissanayaka cooked breakfast and dinner at our request (for which we paid separately) and her dinner curries were the best we ate in Sri Lanka. "Wir konnten schon etwas früher einchecken. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Safaris in den Minneriya NP oder Ausflüge nach Dambulla oder Sigiriya. Das Personal ist sehr liebenswürdig und freundlich. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und sehr gut. Auch das Abendessen war toll. Wir haben zwei Gerichte bestellt, aber viel mehr bekommen, konnten lokale Speisen probieren, alles wurde frisch gekocht. Die Badezimmer sehen recht neu aus, einziges Manko ist die etwas zu laute Klimaanlage. "
