„The property was lovely in its rustic style. Little issues than can just happen through usage. It’s very roomy. I had everything I needed. Good WiFi. Good streaming ability on the television. I would definitely use it again. The AC worked well. Nice appliances. The only thing I would change is taking a nightlight for the middle of the night bathroom visits.“

„Very well equipped, clean, and convenient to walk to restaurants and downtown. Nice landscaping in a traditional brick charmer!! Both bedrooms are equally suited so if traveling with two couples no "tossing a coin" for the better bedroom or bath. Quiet neighborhood. Owner was very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend and when visiting West Jefferson would certainly consider this a great option.“

„Had a great brief stay, thank you Tammy! Great staging area for our trip to Damascus VA. If your not familiar with Damascus, they take you to the top of the mountain, you coast 17 miles downhill through the most amazing countryside you have ever seen.“

„We came to Abingdon for the Dam Yeti 50 and picked the perfect place to stay. It was clean, comfortable and located close to the finish line! We enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch and race planning, and the day after we enjoyed the recliners to put our feet up!“

I grew up close by & my parents live around the corner so it made it easy to visit with them. There is easy access to all my favorite places downtown and the lake, aka Hungry mother Park. I cannot wait to come back and commune with my favorite VA backroads .“

„We had such an outstanding trip to Buffalo Cottage. The house was immaculate and everything we needed and then some was there! It was a good place to stay because so many things are within driving distance. West Jefferson, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Valle Crusis. „It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch..“

"POSITIV Schönes, historisches Hotel im Zentrum der Kleinstadt Marion, VA Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit historischem Charme. Freundliches Personal ZU VERBESSERN Auch als historisches Hotel würden einige Auffrischungen und Renovierungen nicht schaden. Gläser statt Plastikbecher auf dem Zimmer wäre toll. Gäste im Nebenzimmer durch Verbindungstür laut zu hören. Treppenstufen, um zur Lobby (ab dort Lift) zu kommen, bei schwerem Gepäck unbequem. Frühstück zwar kostenlos, aber viel zu einfach und nichts frisch, Frühstücksraum nicht schön. Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. "
