DO NOT STAY AT THIS BUSINESS!!This was a last minute booking after our flight was cancelled late in the day due to weather. I trust VRBO so I accessed this property through them.The check in female staff member never made eye contact. She took my ID and spent a long time looking at it. She called someone and was talking to them while looking at my ID. She kept it a FULL 5 minutes, when all she needed was to confirm I was the person who booked the stay.I had a bad feeling by that point, but our Uber driver was gone and it was late. It was icy and snowy outside. We were trapped in this situation.Our room smelled heavily of smoke. The room was dirty. The bedside tables were broken and the lamps were broken. The baseboards were filthy (smoke or flood damage?). The sheets on the bed were dirty- red stain.Roaches were running around on the floor.There were banging doors all night. A couple nearby had a yelling, screaming fight at 3am.I am so disappointed and this is a blight on the VRBO name. I will be calling VRBO about this.
