„It is wonderful. Quiet, private, we did not see anyone during our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for a couples escape. The back deck and hot tub was perfect for after a hike on the C&O canal. There was a full kitchen and outdoor grill but we found lots of local restaurants in Cumberland instead. The communication with the host was really fast. They did everything to make our stay perfect. We are looking forward to another trip back!! Communication with the host ...

„Wonderful host! Beautiful campsite! Clean Port-a-potty, with 2-ply toilet tissue! Awning over a picnic table for a nice dinner, there's a grill, fire ring, wood supplied and chairs. We camped at "Big D's Pond", one of his two camping sites. The only drawback is that there's no place to wash/clean up. "Hippie baths" All in all, you will not be disappointed!“

„I took the family of 6 to the lake. It was chilly outside but this property was perfect. Plenty of space for us all, each couple had a bathroom. The living room open concept with kitchen was perfect for us being able to enjoy the tv, games, food and beverages together. “

„The cabin was very nice. The only drawback was that there was no dining table. My husband and I brought a lot of board games because the weather was supposed to be bad, but weren’t really able to play any. Other than that the communication with the owner was great. The hot tub was lovely. We had a great time.“

„The Owl’s nest property is beautifully decorated with a unique walking path. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with everything you could need. Communication with the owners was excellent. They provided detailed info on the surrounding area’s restaurants, parks and other amenities. We met the hosts upon arrival and they could not have been more helpful.“

„Great little cabin. It had everything you needed. The owners thought of everything. Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch with the fire pit and reading a book.
