„Lovely quiet place for a short break. Local pub is very friendly and location is not too far from places to visit by car. Glamping Pods very clean as well as toilet block and also well equipped. No issues and really liked that on the day of departure the owner came to say goodbye and ask how our stay was.“

„Our stay at Hell Fyre was a delight. We were warmly welcomed by Louise, to find a well-stocked kitchen, and a warm and comfortable home. The period character of the house made this a special holiday for us. We stayed for three weeks, and were pleased to be able to extend our stay a bit – we so enjoyed living here. We walked the local pathways to villages close by. The location made it easy to take day trips to numerous castles, houses and gardens, and if we were ever at a loss for something ...

„If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.“

„We had an amazing stay. Bob and Liz were lovely and friendly hosts, provided a really nice breakfast and a nice, tasteful welcome package in the fridge. The authentic cottage was a lovely and peaceful place to stay, well renovated and well accomodated. As is the case in most cottages, some of the beams and ceilings are quite low, so watch your head. The walks on the grounds between the bluebells are an absolute must in spring. In the nearby area the places to visit are Plaw Hatch Farm, Bluebell ...

„Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay.“
