„The bed was very soft, get near the edge and you'd roll off.
Pub signage lit all night so it came through the window. Music from the bar underneath at 6.30 in the morning.
All meals overpriced, up about 25% from last year.
Breakfast ; must have found the cheapest orange juice , disgusting and no more pots of tea , you have to fill a cup up out of a flask and put in a tea bag, never tasted anything so vile. Apart from that. “

„The 2 bed cottage was lovely, thoughtful touches including treats and a basket for our dog. Breakfast was fabulous. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend! “

„Room was very small and pretty basic for the price (£120/night): bathroom basic, e.g. untiled floor, window looks out to another roof/wall. Other rooms may be different; this was the last available room as I just booked a day before.
The area is okay but very quiet on a saturday night, which cannot be said from Inn. As a DJ is playing, you will hear the music as a background noise in the room. Parking opportunity is great and room was very clean. All in all it was an enjoyable stay, but not ...

„Excellent hotel! Excellent staff. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English ...

„Very accommodating on my mistake with checking in times! Room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities (just mugs missing which were given as soon as they were aware) Staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. Location is great. Limited parking is available. “

„Terrible mattress on one of the 3 single beds in my room. Single meaning really narrow. I actually switched beds in the middle of the night, for a better but still far too lumpy mattress for my taste. Staff and owners were great, breakfast was good, but ultimately a pub up on a hill with rather rowdy guests on a friday night. Still: value for money, but I‘ll rather spend a bit more next time.“
