„The staff made our experience fabulous. Everyone we met was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I am disabled and needed to use a mobility scooter to get around, nothing was too much bother. The first room was difficult to access for me, we informed reception and were seamlessly and quickly moved to another room. „Sehr schönes altes Hotel mit einem Großen Garten/kleinen Park. Sehr ruhig gelegen und ein sehr freundliches Personal. Man fühlt sich immer willkommen und geschätzt. Leider sieht man den Zimmern das Alter an. Sie werden zwar offenbar immer in Stand gesetzt aber man sieht eben doch das Alter. War trotzdem ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Gern wieder. “

„Nice upscale hotel with large rooms. Good work desk and internet. Breakfast had lots of choices, both hot and cold. Nice location along canal, with a reasonable (if uphill) walk into town, towards the cathedral. Getting to the hotel by foot from the station more challenging due to the hill nature of town, and construction blocking various access ways.“

„Das erste Zimmer war total abgewohnt, dreckig und stank. Gottseidank bekamen wir auf Grund der defekten Toilettenspülung ein Zimmer gegenüber. Es war quasi ein Upgrade (Seaview). „Normal“ sauber (zumindest keine Flecken auf Sofa und Teppich), Kühlschrank und Ventilator. Durch die Seeseite aber auch laut (Straße und Strandpromenade). Egal wo man herging musste man immer ein paar Treppen laufen. Außerdem am letzten Ende.“
