Sie liegt am Rande der Stadt Picton und hat daher keinen Durchgangsverkehr, ist also relativ ruhig gelegen und dennoch nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, so dass man diese auch zu Fuss erreichen kann. Das Einchecken funktioniert über einen Zugangscode an der Eingangstür der Unterkunft, den man per E-Mail am Tag der Anreise erhält und der ab 15 Uhr gilt.Dies hat gut geklappt.“

„Great location with a very short walk to the main street! Kitchen is well-equipped to make your own meals, but close enough to some nice restaurants if you prefer to eat out. Parker, the host, was very attentive in a non-intrusive way and the communication was excellent. Lots of thoughtful extras provided to ensure a wonderful stay!“

„For the journey with my family (3 teenagers) from Montreal to Toronto, I was looking for a rural, intermediate Stop and was more than lucky to come across this little house. We loved it at first sight. Very well and nicely equipped and decorated, located beautifully with sea view in a very calm area. We loved everything about it. 2 nights were way to short, even my teenage kids didn’t want to leave. If we ever come back to eastern Canada, we will definitely choose this gem again. „The property had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend in the fall. The kitchen was well appointed, and dining in the sunroom overlooking the lake was lovely. Everything was super clean, and comfortable. The host, Patricia was responsive to our inquiries and the bottle of local wine was a nice surprise. „We stayed as a group of extended family, ages 6 to 75. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Monica was helpful and responsive. The pizza oven was a highlight and we successfully managed to have ourselves a pizza feast! We would definitely stay again!“

"Zwar ist das Hotel sehr neu, aber das nützt wenig, wenn das Zimmer nicht gut gereinigt wird. Wir hatten überall Chips Krümel im Zimmer und im Bad waren viele Haare - im Waschbecken, auf dem Toilettensitz und in der Wanne. Der Nachtschrank am Bett war total klebrig verschmiert und nicht gereinigt worden. Das Bett war ziemlich schmal und für zwei Personen schon fast zu klein. Dazu war die Matratze ziemlich hart, was sehr untypisch für Nordamerikanische Hotel ist. Das Frühstück war einfach nur schlecht. Das sollte sich das Hotel am besten gleich sparen. Wir würden hier nicht mehr übernachten !"
