„Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away“

„From the time we reached there, Allan and Loraine made us feel welcomed as if we were visiting family or friends.The property was super clean, very well supplied and they seem to have carefully considered little details to make the experience great - things like there is a small torch in keychain for example. The porch has amazing mountain views and you can enjoy perfect sunset. They are also beekeepers, they offered us free honey tasting and samples. We really liked it and purchased some of it. ...

„I stayed at Wombalee with my partner & our dog, this July.It was an awesome home to enjoy the views, nearby bushwalks, visiting Mayfield Gardens, antique stores as well as exploring the property’s beautiful paddock & acreage.Highlights of most days was visiting the butchers in town, going back to the well-appointed kitchen for a cookup while the fireplace was being setup, then chilling on the super-comfy sofas with a red wine & or the local port.“

„We had a great time staying here whilst we were visiting family.We weren't cold at all even though we stayed in the middle of winter as there was heating all throughout the carriage and extra blankets if needed. Everything was converted/ upgraded to a high quality and we were very happy to stay.“

„We stayed at Old Alloway for a long weekend as part of our first-ever book club retreat—and it was a complete success. The house is absolutely stunning, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were nothing short of breathtaking, and the peaceful, secluded setting made it feel like a true escape. „The property grounds are lovely, both at the front entry and at the back patio. The beds were quite comfortable, including heating blankets to help fight the fall chill while we were in town. Also appreciated the eggs and milk waiting for us in the fridge.We were visiting Bathurst for my son’s ultimate frisbee tournament, so the onsite washer and dryer came in handy. We enjoyed the easy and beautiful river walk from the rental to Learmonth Park each day.“

"Die Unterkunft im amerikanischen Motel-Stil hält im Wesentlichen, was sie verspricht. Wenn ich mir hier die Bilder der Unterkunft anschaue, dann sind diese allerdings vielleicht ein wenig zu positiv dargestellt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist etwas ungünstiger, da man für vergleichbaren Komfort durchaus auch schon mal ein inbegriffenes Frühstück erwarten kann. Für mich die entscheidende Frage bleibt immer, ob ich hier nochmal übernachten würde. Und diese Frage kann ich rückblickend mit "ja" beantworten. Für mehr als zwei Übernachtungen würde ich dann allerdings eine besser ausgestattete Unterkunft bevorzugen."
