„House was as described. It was clean and even more space than we expected. The kids loved the bunk room and games in the basement. The “walk” to the beach is still a half mile but was doable and the beach was nice. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.“

„The Whiskey Run Lodge was amazing - even better than the pictures! Three families (6 adults) - plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy. The house is very well-stocked with everything you need. The amenities are awesome! Perfect location: 10 minute drive to downtown South Haven and 10 minute walk to Covert Beach. Host is very responsive and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough and hope to return someday!“

„The driveway, walkway and porch could have used a good sweeping/cleaning!The rooms were very clean and neat. The house has a rather "musty" smell. The garage (which you have to go through), and back deck needed sweeping/cleaning. The yard, both front and back needed some real tending to....Personal taste--don't like plastic dishes !No icemaker !For the price and last minute booking it was okay. Thanks“

„The cabin was very cute and clean. The master bedroom was updated and the bed was very comfortable. This unit is right next to the shared laundry room with three other units. And had its own private deck for grilling. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a toaster and coffee pot. The WiFi and tv streaming worked great. The host gave us details related to close beaches and restaurants that were minutes away. The host was very responsive and made sure we checked in ok since we ...

„This cabin has a strong odor due to sulfur water. We departed at 4:30 am due to a smoke detector repeatedly sounding from 1:00 am - 4:00 am which was previously written about in another review. The sleeping arrangements were not comfortable for a family of three. The property management needs addressed - I do not believe the cabin is being cleaned - only quick wipe downs and change of bedding. The exterior is certainly not being maintained and surrounding cabins need work as well. Parking is ...

„Would definitely stay again! Very reasonable rates. Well stocked kitchen with a coffee bar! 2 main bedrooms very comfortable. The third bedroom not as comfy appropriate for only kids due to the interior window. Bathtubs could use some updating and wished there was more privacy in the backyard. Otherwise a great stay with host quick to answer any questions.“

„The house was very clean and the location was beautiful. Many things to do around the area. Check-in was very simple and the owner communicated very well. “

„This house was just perfect!! It had everything you could need and was spotless!! Definitely will return!!“

„Great Lake home and well equipped!! Communication was awesome with the host! Very enjoyable place to stay and spacious. Would definitely rent again!!!“

„Spacious and exceptionally clean, family friendly property! Hosts have provided a comprehensive rental experience, with everything you could possibly need. The game room and bikes were a huge hit with my 3 boys. Would have loved to stay longer and would return!“

„Enjoyed our stay on Lyon St. Easy drive to all the hot spots a family will want to visit--the beach, playgrounds, splash pad, and downtown for ice cream. They had what we needed to grill out some hamburgers and enjoy meals at the house. It was also nice to start a fire outback our first night and roast marshmallows. The shed had a great wagon and chairs for the beach. The games and video games were a hit with our boys (8 and 2). The hosts was responsive via messenger when we couldn't figure out ...

„Pet friendly to the extreme!! The couches smell like pee, the pillows are all stained. Trim falling off of walls. Dark. Mildew smell.“

„Great location! Had everything we needed plus more. Bed in master bedroom was very comfortable.South Haven is the perfect family vacation spot!“

„We loved our stay! It is a beautiful house in a great location. Good communication regarding our stay and any details needed. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!“

„5 Star place to stay in every way! Super clean. Absolutely beautiful home as described. Quiet area. Appointed with everything we needed and then some. We were very impressed with all the small thoughtful items such as a laminated, spiral book on the kitchen island explaining everything about the house, local restaurants, and things to do during the stay. A QR code on the mantel to access the Wifi. My two other 70 year old women friends were just as impressed as well. Super fast responses to ...

„The house is nicely located close to the beach and to Main St. The house is well equipped with all kitchen necessities, laundry, and all the comforts of home.“

„The photos do not do justice to the property. It was much nicer than photos. Deck has rails and protection from falling off. Dock had been redone. Inside was totally upgraded. Nice kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom. The management service was excellent. Very responsive and helpful. Responded to text on Sunday Evening in less than 5 minutes. Great place with swim area in front of house and sandy beach.“

„We stayed here in June and the location and property were great! The host was quick to communicate. The property was clean and the house was fully stocked - we’ve never seen a house so stocked for its guests! We appreciated that so much! The only thing we noticed was the pictures portray a much larger yard and since the photos were taken, the neighbor has put up a fence which makes this yard much much smaller than it appears. The photos need updating as the patio set up and areas around the ...
