The house has everything you could need, is exceptionally clean and well equipped for a family vacation. Check in was easy and everything was ready for us when we arrived, the kitchen and the rest of the house is fully equipped even if you forget something, you don’t have to worry as it will most likely be available for you to use from plates to coffee, it’s all there. “

„As advertised, owners were pleasant and easy to deal with. House was well equipped (don’t have to run out and buy toilet paper/ paper towels / etc) and there isn’t a huge list of rules and house keeping like there is in some places. Only complaint is that the only way to access the two showers is through a bedroom but we made it work fine. “

„The property itself was beautiful- Hunter was a great host. AC had a slight leak in the master but he was quick to communicate with me when I found it. The kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub, game room and every other feature we could use we did (except the boat). My hubby and I will be back on our own for a weekend hideaway! I may have forgotten one of our life jackets there “

„We stayed here for my wedding weekend with our wedding party. I wanted a place for them to stay and not worry about lodging. There was plenty of space for us and lots of dishes for everyone. We all appreciated the numerus box fans throughout since it was a hot weekend in duluth, so those were helpful. And even though it was hot we did test out the sauna and I must say it was a hit and was nice and relaxing. And any question I had for Morgan throughout the stay she answered quickly and was very ...

„If I could give more stars I would! This is a total experience. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They are so happy to share their piece of paradise with others. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! Walk down to the bridge and watch herons and beavers near the Whiteface River.“

„Superior house retreat was a great place to stay for our family. Location is close to hiking and Duluth, and easy to navigate. Everyone's beds were comfortable. Ping pong table was a big hit. (We brought our own paddles and balls.) Kitchen was large so easy to work in for multiple helping hands. Duluth coffee to start was very much appreciated! Sauna is large and works for a good sweat if that is your thing. Yard area was recently mowed which was a relief so as to cut down on any concerns there. ...

„This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property.“

„A large, authentic log cabin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. We especially loved the front dining room with windows looking outover the lake and the patio/firepit.Briar Lake is a small, shallow lake with weeds and moderate clarity, so it wasn't ideal for swimming, but the kids and grandkids enjoyed the paddleboards....and the sauna was a nice feature.Great communication and very easy check-in and check-out. Very nice to have a washer/dryer and dishwasher.“

The cabin was comfortable and had all that was needing for a relaxing stay. We loved the loons and the friendly squirrel. We even saw a bear near Makinen!“
