„I absolutely loved my stay at Strozzi Palace and will definitely stay again. Minor things which could’ve addressed were that the balcony area and chair cushions need some attention but it didn’t affect our stay. The room was lovely and the staff were great. I’d highly recommend. “

„The main issue is the price and what you ultimately get for that price. A hostel is probably an apt description except you are paying £100+ for it. Avoid unless you are desperate. “

„We stayed in Apt 1 on ground floor which was great. Very roomy & had everything we needed. It was handy being able to prepare breakfast & dinner if needed. Washing machine was a bonus & came in handy after travelling for a bit so was able to wash our clothes. Lidl supermarket less than 10 min easy walk. Would highly recommend. “

„We loved the property! Extremely clean and comfortable accommodations and easy access to shopping, pubs, etc…. Highly recommend this property to anyone - please note: the property includes a number of stairs and it is a few blocks to shopping etc, so those with mobility challenges may wish to consider this.“

„We had a wonderful stay at the Old Fleece. The Studio apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything you could need for a few days away. A fantastic small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and induction hob. The staff were wonderful, happy to help in any way. We will definitely visit again.“

„Fabulous apartment and location. The property is pristine, spacious and perfect for our stay. Host was very easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. Hated to leave!“

„We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand.“

„The Railway View carriage was just delightful! It is small but perfectly set up. Not much storage for clothing but we managed. Perhaps a few more hooks to hang things would be useful. I especially appreciated the tea and coffee necessities after our long drive. We didn't want to leave!!“

Good wardrobe space but could have done with a small chest of drawers for small items of clothing. Only drawers are bedside tables.Lovely bathroom but a power shower would have been more enjoyable. Good to have a parking space too.“

„The house is simply wonderful. It is very tastefully furnished, you could move in here immediately, has all and more amenities (insane cooker, lots of dishes, big fridge, washer and dryer, grill, nice glasses) has enough space for a family with one or two children or for two couples, a beautiful little garden with two super seating areas. You can park your car very comfortably in front of the garage or if it is a smaller car also in the garage. The house is opposite the village church and in two ...

"Gutes Hotel im gehobenen Preissegment. Das ist es meiner Meinung nach nicht Wert. Viele kostenlose Parkplätze, leider werden morgens die Wege durch die Reisebusse der Gruppenreisen versperrt. Soll ja auch niemand einen Schritt zu weit laufen. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, wird nach ein paar Tagen aber eintönig. Keinerlei Abwechslung, kein Käse..., nur englisch breakfast. Ist man gleich zu Beginn der Öffnungszeiten dort, ist einiges noch nicht fertig oder verfügbar. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant ist bemüht freundlich. Im Poolbereich wird schon eine halbe Stunde vor Schließzeit wird mit dem Aufbau der Reinigungsgeräte begonnen. Sicherlich möchte das Personal auch Feierabend haben, doch Kundenorientierung sieht anders aus. Der Poolbereich dürfte gerne auch innerhalb der Öffnungszeiten einmal grob gereinigt bzw. Aufgeräumt werden. Sauberkeit im Zimmer war gut. Fenster im Zimmer ließ sich nur sehr schwer öffnen. Es gab ausschließlich englische Fernsehsender. "

"Leider versprechen die Bilder viel mehr, als dass das Hotel Substanz und Service bietet. Unfreundliches und lustloses Personal, keinerlei Bedürfnis, bei Fragen zu helfen, Badezimmer und insbesondere Toilette war dreckig, auch nach der Bitte, diese erneut zu reinigen. Bad kaum ausgestattet und lieblos angeordnet, und in schlechtem Zustand. Unfassbar unbequemes, abgenutztes Bett. Jeder Schritte der Nachbarn, vor allem von oben, hört man mit lautem Knarren und Knaksen, so sehr, dass man nachts aufwacht. Essen im Restaurant lieblos und überteuert. Sehr sehr schade, denn das Hotel selbst hätte so viel mehr Potential."
