„The staff were very friendly and the hotel is nice and central. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The only slight criticism was that there must have been a slight gap in the window as there was a slight whistling noise from the window.“

„This was a very nice comfortable place. We had a little trouble finding it. Was easy to check in and out of. The only suggestion I would make was to put the exterior patio lights on a timer so that they turn off at night— if it’s hot and you have the window open then you have all the light from the patio. But it was very clean and comfortable.“

„Sehr schönes altes Hotel mit einem Großen Garten/kleinen Park. Sehr ruhig gelegen und ein sehr freundliches Personal. Man fühlt sich immer willkommen und geschätzt. Leider sieht man den Zimmern das Alter an. Sie werden zwar offenbar immer in Stand gesetzt aber man sieht eben doch das Alter. War trotzdem ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Gern wieder. “

„What a lovely place to stay. A convenient location on the A66 (near to Scotch Corner). Beatiful views from the back of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals in the bar area. Rooms were nice and comfortable with a very spacious bathroom and great shower. The only downside was that we were in Room 8 which was above the kitchen which was a bit on the noisey side. Will definitely use again but would bring ear plugs next time.“
