"The hotel is great and I can't understand the bad reviews I've read. The elevators worked flawlessly, the staff spoke English and were very friendly and unlike Copacabana and Ipanema, the beach is also much cleaner and a lot quieter. Of course, if you want to be asked every 15 minutes, whether you want to buy a bracelet or something, there is nothing wrong with Copacabana. This is not the case at all on Sao Conrado Beach. All in all, the hotel, the place and the beach in my opinion was the best choice to be in "Zona Sul" in Rio de Janeiro when you want a hotel directly on the beach."
