Barefoot and Salty is the only way to be in Port A. You'll enjoy a private pool (heated seasonally with an additional fee), outdoor living and dining, pool bar and it's centrally located with an easy golf cart commute to the beach in 5 min, or cart to eateries, shopping, nightlife. With 3 Bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen and a Bunk Room), 2 Bathrooms, you'll have plenty of space for friends and family. Parking for 3. No Smoking. Pets are considered with a fee. COPASTR: 270-783

Welcome to Barefoot and Salty. This perfectly designed (with vacationers in mind) and newly remodeled beach house is perfect for those who want to be minutes from the beach, eateries, and nightlife but yet want a quiet stay in Old Town. Enjoy a private pool, stunning sunsets, and plenty of space for friends and family!

Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.

With parking 3 vehicles (must park horizontally) depending on size, as you pull up and walk through the gate, you'll want to linger in this incredible outdoor space. A private pool is inviting you in, and a pool bar is a great place to enjoy afternoon happy hours, along with outdoor living space for comfort and relaxation.

Heading upstairs, you'll enter a beautiful and spacious dining/kitchen area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need to prep, cook, serve, and dine! The living space is open and offers plenty of seating for your friends and family. The balcony and upper deck are huge and have great outdoor space for grilling and chilling!

The bedrooms offer 1 King Suite with a private bathroom, a Queen Bedroom, and a Bunk room with 2 twins and 1 full. You'll also enjoy a 2nd full bathroom and a stackable washer/dryer.

Home Truths:
- Pool heat is available for an additional fee but must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
- Please note that pool heat is only available between Oct 1st & April 30th.
- The pool temperature is not guaranteed. The pool temperature may vary depending on the weather and outside air temperature.
- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. Services can be intermittent on an island.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
- 2 pets are allowed at this home. This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.
- Guests must be 21 years or older to book this home.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

Best vacation home

My family stays in Port A every year and this home was by far the best. We usually forget something small, like cooking oil or extra beach towels. This home had quite literally everything you would need. Even items for children (cups, plates, silverware) and things for dogs as well. Communication was also fantastic. Quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Barefoot and Salty Vacation

Great property, location and property management attention. Upon checking in I needed help with the nest thermostat. Spoke to the local property management firm and they were going to send someone out within the hour. Reviewed a u-tube video and figured it out but called them back to cancel maintenance. They were appreciative and told me to call back anytime and they’d promptly help. Property was well maintained and provided an excellent stay. Very happy with AvantStay and their local mgmt firm.
