Welcome to Sandy Paws, a tranquil pet-friendly oceanfront vacation home on the 4x4 beaches of Carova Beach, Northern Outer Banks, North Carolina.

This 4,023 sq ft beach house sleeps 14 across six spacious themed bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and was lovingly designed for families and their dogs to enjoy the ultimate OBX beach vacation. Heatable private pool, elevator, game room with pool table, private dune walkway to the beach, and panoramic Atlantic views with wild horses grazing on the dune make Sandy Paws one of the most complete oceanfront rentals on the Northern Outer Banks. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is required. Three-night minimum stays available in spring and fall. Free pool heat available for open spring weeks.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements
Six themed bedrooms sleep 14 guests: four king bedrooms each with private bath, one twin bedroom with two twins, and one bunk room with a double and bunk bed. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom — a rare luxury in any vacation rental.
Heatable Private Pool & Outdoor Spaces
The private heatable pool features LED spa lighting and is surrounded by poolside lounge chairs. A private dune walkway leads directly to the oceanfront beach. Watch the famous Corolla wild horses graze peacefully on your dune, enjoy a seaside picnic, or stargaze from the private spa at night. Both propane and charcoal grills, outdoor furniture, and a picnic table round out the outdoor amenities.

Sandy Paws features a full elevator serving all three levels — making it one of the most accessible vacation rentals on the 4x4 Carova Beach.

The surf-themed recreation room features a pool table, dart set, retro-style refrigerator/freezer, lounge furniture, and large screen TV. High-speed internet and large screen TVs in all living areas keep everyone connected and entertained.

The spacious kitchen is built for a crowd — double cooktops, double dishwashers, and double refrigerator/freezers accommodate multiple chefs with ease. Three refrigerator/freezers plus a chest freezer in the shed mean you can stock up for the entire week without a trip back to town. The dining area seats 21.
