„Overall, great. Restaurant was not as good as other experiences but staff was great. Amazing location. Would caution staying on the top floor near the alley. Room so hot closing the window was not an option and the alley is used by those traveling to and from some of the pubs, so you can imagine the noise. Not the fault of the hotel but shows the reason it is one of their less expensive rooms. GREAT LOCATION!“

„We had the private suit with bunk beds and it was just right for us. The room itself was small but it served its purpose for what we needed - a clean place to sleep and shower, because we were not in the room that much. „From the fantastic welcome to handing the room keys back our stay was excellent. The room and facilities felt spacious comfortable and immaculately clean. Classic Victorian hotel in a great location

"A typical older Victorian hotel, but better than expected at that price! We had a superior twin, which was on the second floor and had a great view through two large windows of the promenade and the sea. The room was big, the beds were comfortable, linen and towels were all new and the room was always clean, plenty of coffee and tea in the room, and all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. We are a small misunderstanding when checking in which was quickly rectified. Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet and fried or poached eggs on demand. The coffee was good and the bar was nice too. We will definitely come again"
