Step across the hallway from the utility room into the high-specification kitchen & dining room. The highest quality, newly-fitted kitchen is a pleasure to be within and is fully equipped for even for the most enthusiastic of chefs. The solid wood dining table has seating for 4 guests and is perfect for hearty breakfasts or post-adventure dinners.

The stunning, well-equipped kitchen is complete with a NEFF Built in microwave, NEFF built in induction hob, NEFF built in oven & grill, Miele built in dishwasher, Miele under counter fridge and DAB radio.

Back across the central hallway leads to the cottage's homely lounge with local artwork by artist Lucy Pittaway and attractive bay window with views onto the pretty garden. The living space features plump sofas and armchairs and a large Smart TV, all focused around a log-burning stove. A cosy and comfortable room in which to retreat after a day filled with Lake District adventure. Peek in the cupboard under the stairs and you will find a library of local books and walking maps, hand-picked by the cottage's knowledgeable owners, all designed to help you make the most of your visit to the National Park.

A staircase from the central hallway leads to the upstairs of this splendid property. From the landing you have the choice of 2 equally appointed and beautifully finished, ensuite bedrooms. Each luxuriously furnished with a sumptuous king-size bed complete with Herdy mattress.

Summerbank Cottage's inviting south-facing garden is a secluded oasis; perfect for relaxing with a book and a glass of wine. Lovingly landscaped using mature planting, stunning Lakeland slate and stone reclaimed locally, the garden is full of charm and character. The spacious stone patio, with its table and seating for 6, is made for alfresco dining. This delightful garden is also fully enclosed and dog-friendly.

Paddleboards, bikes and canoes can be securely stored in the cottage's detached garage.

Travelling with a dog?
We can offer free use of a 1 acre field in Coniston village, perfect for off the lead running, walking, training and playing. Use by arrangement only. Please contact the office for availability.
