„This is one of the best places we have stayed using Vrbo. It’s clean, has a welcoming host, and is in a beautiful area.“

„The place was wonderful. Cleaner and well stocked with the tools needed to cook a meal and entertain kids. Owners were quickly available and very easy to work with. I definitely recommend this house. Grandsons enjoyed the WWII memorial park also.“

„Third time's a charm! Actually, each time has been charming. We enjoyed our stay...the cozy cottage and comfort of home. The convenient location adds to the list of positives. Will stay there again!“

„The decor was adorable and the novelty of staying in a renovated grain bin was very fun. The owners were very sweet and very responsive to our needs. The one thing we didn't realize when booking is that all sounds are heard in the entire property because the walls do not extend up to a ceiling in order to allow for the view of the dome roof with ceiling fan. If we were to book here again, I would be interested in seeing if this is improved by the floor in the 2 story red bin.“

„Cozy“

„The Retreat at Candler’s Mountain is exactly as represented on the website. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The area is very near everything you’d need in Lynchburg, but feels secluded and is extremely peaceful. The hosts anticipated all the information we would need regarding the rental, including advising us of an internet outage before we were even aware it was out.I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Liberty University and the Lynchburg area.“

„Everything was beautiful and very clean. We wouls stay again with them.“

„Perfect little place to stay for the night between driving. Had all the essentials. In a good area too.“
