„We stayed in the budget room which was good for us two travellers walking the coastal path. The room only had a bath which was great for us but not for everyone. The meal we had in the pub was very delicious 😋. We had a great stay with you for a very reasonable price 😀“

„Lovely stay within walking distance to the beach and the bus stop. The bed was really comfortable and despite the heatwave, the room was quite cool - I appreciated that very much. The hotel clearly cares about their guests as I heard one employee asking another if all the rooms were stocked with water and they refilled my and others’ water bottles with cold water.“

„Very good place with dinner and breakfast available. We paid too much via Expedia“

„The room we had was clean and tidy with clean towels etc. We did fine some sweets and a tablet under the bed when I dropped my own tablet but otherwise, clean. One wall light appeared to not work but not a problem to us. The staff throughout were friendly and helpful. There is a well stocked bar with national brands as well as more local ones. Beer is a lovely place where you can relax and life slows down if you want it to.“

„Very friendly and clean. Thanks“

„Beautifully converted building, with great hosts and fantastic breakfast.“

„This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. Breakfast was very good, too. Our hosts also offered very helpful tips on where to go for dinner or ...

„The hotel was really a hostel and did not match up with images on their website. We were expecting to be staying in a country house hotel not a youth hostel. The only facility we had was wifi. The room was clean but very basic with no ability to make ourselves a tea or coffee without walking down two flights of very steep steps to the kitchen which was a health and safety nightmare - no idea why they could not have put a tea/ coffee station on the top floor. There was no television ...

„Great location for the celebration we were attending. Lovely host really friendly. A fab stay“

„Ungewöhnliches Haus aufgrund seines Alters. Reetgedeckt und wohl 800 Jahre alt. Alles stand irgendwie schief was uns nicht gestört hat. Einrichtung war sauber und ordentlich. Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker. Gern wieder“

Absolut empfehlenswert!!!“

„A lovely stay in an absolutely authentic hotel, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. We even participated in a mystery dinner - together with some local people - in the hotel‘s restaurant. If you need some advice on day trips or good places in the area, make sure you speak to the landlord.“

„Second time here, another lovely room with plenty of space and well lit too. Parking was easy. Will definitely stay again.“
