Italian Village puts you an 8-min walk from Short North's High Street restaurants, galleries and bars, and a 6-min walk from Budd Dairy Food Hall, our go-to when everyone in the group wants something different. Guests call the area walkable and say the backyard is surprisingly quiet and private. North Market is a 16-min walk; the Greater Columbus Convention Center is 19 min on foot and Nationwide Arena 23 min, or about 5 min by car. Fall game days at Ohio Stadium are a 9-min drive. For coffee or matcha, try Fox in the Snow Cafe or ZenCha Tea Salon nearby.

Original hardwood floors, exposed brick, original doors and trim, and the owners' own artwork throughout. The fireplaces are decorative only. A skylight brightens the second floor hallway. All 3 bedrooms are up a set of steep wooden stairs, so this home suits guests comfortable with stairs.

The backyard
Fully fenced and private, under a big tree and string lights. Guests say it is surprisingly quiet. Fall evenings here mean a hot tub soak after a Buckeyes game or a long convention day, then the fire pit. Mornings, take your coffee to the front porch swing overlooking the historic brick street.
