Piltraque - Unsere Ferienvilla in Andalusien, Spanien

Our fabulous Spanish country villa in Andalucia in southern Spain is the perfect large family holiday home. The house is set in over 4 acres of almond & olive trees in stunning private surroundings in the spanish countryside, but is just 10 minutes from the traditional white Spanish villages of Riogordo and Colmenar and only 35 minutes from Malaga airport.

The house sleeps up to 14 in 6 large bedrooms - two doubles and two twin bedrooms upstairs and two double bedrooms with an extra single bed in each downstairs. The downstairs bedrooms are not connected to the upstairs by an internal staircase but are easily accessible via the pool area. The modern kitchen is fully fitted including a dishwasher. The main living area has air-conditioning for the summer & heating for the winter. TV with DVD and broadband internet access is included. The house has a full size pool - 8m x 4m - with plenty of space around it for sunbathing. In addition there is a separate large games/utility room with dartboard and pool table and a laundry.

Please note that being in the countryside there is approximately 1km of bumpy dirt road from the main road to the villa, so you will need a suitable vehicle. Anything with a bit of clearance should be fine if you drive gently. See the photos.

Things to do: The villa is very well situated to take advantage of the many activities available in the local area. Whether your ideal holiday consists of lying about with a good book or testing the local golf courses then this is the ideal base.

For beach lovers, the villa is within easy reach of the coast - less than 30 minutes drive - with access to numerous beaches. Torre del Mar also has many other activities like the Aqua Velis waterpark at Torre del Mar - one of the largest in Andalucia. Also in Torre del Mar are other activities like Karting del Sol and Ozone bowling.

With the stunning mountain scenery and lots of trails for walking and photography, there is plenty to keep everyone busy.

Alhambra Palace - if you only visit one thing when you are in Andalucia then it has to be the stunning Alhambra Palace in Granada. One of the wonders of the world. Book in advance and ideally well before your holiday. The historical cities of Seville, Cordoba and Rhonda are all within easy driving distance on excellent roads. The caves at Nerja are also worth a visit, as is Nerja itself.
