The property is beautiful, and there is a lot of wildlife around. The ponds on the property are really nice, containing lots of fish, frogs, tadpoles, salamanders, and other critters. „The cabin is beautiful! Location is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. Outdoor area is superb! It's a perk when we can travel with our puppy children and have a place for them to walk and enjoy. „Unplugging from regular life for a week was great, nephew (age 7) went through withdrawl from the internet though. So many places to go hiking we were busy all the time. Going to town for groceries wasn't bad! The river was a bit cool for swimming, but was a grand adventure regardless. Definitely recommend!“

„We enjoyed using this spot to explore Eastern West Virginia. Elkins has some great restaurants and borders the Mononghala National Forest. Don't miss Smoke on the Water BBQ, if you're a meat eater you won't be disappointed. The listing didn't mention there are two bedrooms and two baths, more than enough room for two.“

„My husband and I loved staying here for a weekend getaway just the two of us. It was exactly the relaxing country atmosphere we were looking for to reconnect without our children present. The only thing that could've made it better would've been a hot tub, but that would have just been extra decoration on an already deliciously decorated cake.
