„Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.“

„This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. „Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. “

„Beautifully furnished with everything I needed. Canal towpath was amazing and the highlight of my stay. The last 10-12 steps to entrance were, however, extremely challenging for my aging legs. Oh and the screened porch, where I spent most of my time when not walking the towpath, was my favorite thing about the house. I highly recommend this property for anyone who doesn’t have problems with lots of steps. “

„We had a very nice stay. There were a lot of bugs on the floors. Could have used some baking dishes. We left flour in fridge. There needed to have sugar, flour and things that people would need. When we have gone to other B&Bs places they would have things like that for people.Tried to log in on tv to use our account to you tube tv but didn’t have a code for Roku. Better access to the river from the house. People have a hard time going up and down.“

„This is a beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood with access to the Potomac River. The house is about 10 minutes from all of the things you would want to do in the Harper’s Ferry Historic area. The house is furnished and decorated very nicely and the kitchen has everything you will need for preparing & serving meals. „The setting is gorgeous. The house is a nice, comfy place to return to after a day of exploring. The beds are very comfortable, the towels abundant, & tv channels endless. The extra touches are nice. The kitchen is stocked w/ enough bakeware to cook really anything. There is so much to do within 30 min...so rich with history. Just make sure you type your destinations in GPS BEFORE you leave the house as service is spotty. The host was quick to respond to messages, but we had everything we ...
