The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. „Not handicapped friendly. Only the Office, Restaurant, and Woodward House have Handicapped ramps. All other facilities seem to have stairs. This place must have been awesome 100 years ago. „Expedia lists this as having mini fridge and patio/balcony. It was an inn so the front porch was the p/b. The fridge downstairs had drawer space for us to keep our stuff in. „Nowhere on their website did they mention the lake had no water. They were also doing repairs so the walls had exposed wires. The bathrooms are reminiscent of a hospital bathroom. The rooms are poorly lit with no tv. Lots of history in the buildings just very dated rooms. The breakfast was really great.“

„Stayed here briefly on a trip to Asheville area. As a solo male traveler, it worked out fine, and the price was right. I'd be less likely recommend it for a solo female or for families.
