Charmantes renoviertes Bauernhaus, 2. 5 Meilen von der Innenstadt von Oberlin: Land Freiheit w / Stadt Komfort. Hospitable and accommodating host. Kitchen with snacks and breakfast, thoughtful arrangement of the house and furniture, clean. Essentially 2 suites, one on each floor , each with a bedroom, bathroom and a living room with a daybed and sofa. Private yard and porch, partially shaded by trees. There is no wi-fi at the property, and host was upfront and transparent about it.

This is a nice property with a good location to Oberlin. We spent a few days there while moving our kids into the college. Place was clean and tidy, and had a large fenced in backyard with a grill and various sitting areas, and a basketball hoop. The owner was very responsive to questions, and even left some breakfast good for us, which was unexpected. The house is old and decorated with Americana. Ceilings upstairs are low so watch your head if you are tall. The only issue we had with this place was lack of WiFi, which was a major problem for us as I needed it for work and the kids need it to register for classes. The owner said other guests just used their hotspots, but I don’t see how since the cellular coverage is terrible. Granted this was my fault because I didn’t read the details carefully, but it didn’t occur to me that in this day and age a place wouldn’t have WiFi. Nonetheless, I would recommend this property if that’s not important to you.

What a terrific place! It is extremely quiet and private, with ample space to spread out. We were in Oberlin for a wedding and couldn't have found a better place to stay. Our host, Marcia, welcomed us by stocking the refrigerator with a bounty of breakfast foods! Eggs, bacon, muffins, juice, milk, and coffee! I recommend staying here!

Good Farm Stay

Overall good stay a few minutes from Oberlin College. Lots of space in the house and the yard area. Easy parking. The homeowner also leaves an incredible amount of food for you, beyond just snacks, but including a fridge filled with eggs, sausage, bacon, orange juice, bottled waters, etc. The house works well and our stay was good. The only additional thing to be aware of is the bedroom/bathroom situation. While there are a lot of beds available, the placement is something to know as both bathrooms are off one of the bedrooms and one of the bedrooms requires you to go through a different bedroom to get to it. Wouldn't likely be an issue for families, but possibly if staying with large group of friends or something.

Quaint and Quiet True B&B

The Red Barn Farm House was perfect for our family to stay in for two nights. The breakfast was very thoughtful, and had a great variety to cover the tastes of all in our group. The many bedrooms and twin beds were perfect for our family, and our son also enjoyed all the cute decor. We look forward to returning in the future so we can enjoy the large backyard more with friends.

First let me say that our host went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. From the breakfast items to plenty of comfy blankets. The fenced in backyard was spacious and had several comfortable seating areas. I would recommend this place to couples as well as families.

Lovely home away from home!

Lovely country home

Property was exactly as advertised. Found kitchen stocked with all kinds of breakfast foods, snacks and beverages which was a wonderful thing after a long trip. Home was quiet and had a nice eating area that sat up to eight people. Host was very gracious when we accidentally locked ourselves out. A really nice visit.

Plenty of space both indoor/outdoor for a family

Very cute old farmhouse with a large fenced-in backyard. Outdoor space includes deck, and 2 outdoor gazebos (one with bbq pit and picnic table and other with a firepit). Outdoor fountain, swing and hammock were a nice touch in the backyard. There is no WIFI, so if you need it you may want to bring a portable hotspot. Also, smoke detector is very sensitive. Every time I cooked on the stove it went off (even with fan on and windows open). There is no spa as the listing had advertised. Overall, we loved it and will definitely plan to stay here again next time we are in town.

We stayed 7 days, for a fishing trip. Plenty of parking for trucks/boats. Its an old farmhouse, in a country setting, safe neighborhood, did not need to worry about our equipment. When a couple small issues came up, the host quickly had them fixed. Great communication. Would stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this property! In the country but close enough to town when we need it! Nice fenced in back yard for our grandchildren when they came for a cookout! The host is amazing!

Well appointed Farm stay.

We stayed here for a family wedding and this was the perfect location to the event center. From reservation to check out… easy process. Marsha was prompt and informative with her communication. We really appreciated the generous breakfast products provided by the owner/Marsha. Beautiful backyard… plenty of places to sit. We spent most of our time outdoors and around the dining room table. I personally enjoyed the swing!! Coming and going after dark was easy with motion sensor spot lights. Thank you again for a lovely stay!
