Location was perfect for "The Spring Games" with field assignment of Hancock Park in Clermont. The host communication was sufficient but, I have witnessed more timely responses. However, not sure that should always be expected.I expected the kitchen to be better stocked with utensils and kitchen ware. No pot holders or oven mitts and no knives with a sharp blade. Only butter knives. No spare hand towels on site but, midway through stay someone dropped off additional towels.Had a hot water problem that was unable to be addressed during our stay. So, absolutely freezing showers for 6 days was not ideal. Also, pictures show an onsite stackable washer, dryer but, the washer had a note on it to not use. Not sure if broken or only for the owners to use. There is communal laundry at the club house but, I was not interested in carrying laundry over to the clubhouse. Overall the place is charming but, falls short to substitute home living. Would have been happier in a hotel for this trip. Normally with a trip of this length we tend to stay in a vacation home to have more of the home living conveniences like cooking and doing laundry during the trip.
