„The house needs a lot of work, peeling paint , cracks in woodwork, mold at bottom of living room window, and light bulbs out everywhere. There is a very strong mildew odor. Host has 2 dehumidifiers running constantly which indicates a lot of moisture. It is a charming house that needs a major makeover.“

„Cabin was very clean. There was a basket of treats welcoming us when we entered the cabin, very thoughtful by the host. Cabin was nice and cool although it was quite hot outside-in the 90's. Beds were comfortable, our daughter enjoyed the loft. I liked the early mornings sitting on the back porch drinking my coffee, the back porch even has ceiling fans to keep one cool. It was way to hot(for us) to use the fire pit. All we had to supply was food, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, a good ...

I do feel the price was a bit high for the quality of the furnishings, materials, etc. Low end items look nice but aren’t very comfortable (e.g., couch and bed). The owner was nice and accommodating. Just felt a bit overpriced for what we got, otherwise 5 stars.“
