„Our family had a wonderful stay at the beautiful, clean, peaceful Hoyt House. There was plenty of space to gather together as well as spread out. The daffodils were beginning to bloom and there is the sight and sound of a running stream behind the home. We were close to fun things to explore like the Audubon, covered bridge, and Kent waterfalls. Great bakery, restaurants, grocery a short drive away. „The house was perfectly situated on the lake. It had areas that I could close the gates, deck/yard, to keep in or out my 3yr old grandson and our dog. It made for a very relaxing time for all of us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of toys to keep my grandson occupied! My 15 yr old granddaughter loved fishing off the deck and the dock. The host was very available and helpful. The grocery store was a short drive away! I will definatly book this house again next ...

„This trip was for our extended family including 10 people ages 18-??. This house is located about 1/2 mile up a windy road above the race brook lodge's main facilities. Everyone loved the secluded location with beautiful views of the mountains out of main living area and 2nd floor. „The house is clean, spacious and comfortable and well stocked with linens, towels, blankets, cleaning supplies, etc - it looks exactly as pictured and has everything you need. The kids’ ‘playroom’ was a great space even for older children, and allowed adults and kids to truly spread out and enjoy the property. We cooked multiple meals, and had all the equipment we needed. The local Guido’s specialty supermarket had an excellent selection of meats, cheeses and prepared foods, which helped ...

„This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our family vacation. With seven adults, three kids, and two dogs, there was plenty of space for everyone. The lake was fantastic -- lots of fish, and great opportunities for swimming and boating. The property is accurately described, and Vic and Leny are excellent homeowners who are always available to answer questions. We are looking forward to a return stay at this special place!“

„Very nice, clean, spacious house. Good air conditioning (it was very hot when we were there!). Appreciated the notebook of information and instructions. One minor issues; some outlets in the kitchen and bedrooms did not work - recommend that these be fixed (one of us uses a CPAP and had a bit of difficulty setting this up due to this issue).“

„We had a relaxing stay - 3 good friends gathering from 3 different states over holiday weekend. Enjoyed the gorgeous home. Loved the rails to trails path, which we walked 35 mins into adorable Millerton (great shops and restaurants) and would recommend bringing bikes to really get around! Loved Lakeville and the lake. restaurants - willa and the black rabbit - super yummy food, lots of veggie options too. Thank for for a lovely, lovely stay!“
