„I really really enjoyed my stay at the hotel! Its perfect place to get into the Cotswold, go on hikes or just relax. To the hotel do not expect a 5 star spa high-end hotel. This hotel has a lot of english charm which i loved!! My room just had one wardrobe with just 10 hangers ,so all the shirts and underwear stayed in the bags. „A good choice for a visitit to Cirencester. 15 Minute walk to the town centre. Although no staff on site, the access was fairly straightforward and when I messaged witha query they replied immediately. The bedroom was nicely finished and the bed very comfortable. The en-suite shower rtoom was not finishedd to the same standard as the bedroom. Although clean, it was just a bit basic. The only other negative was the noise from the nearby main road.“

„Well run hotel in excellent location, with good parking and nice breakfast / restaurant / bar / outdoor seating. The hotel (or at least part of it) is a grade 2 listed building (dating from 1595). As a result the rooms are quite variable in size and some are up a very steep staircase, so beware when booking. Bar had 3 handpump ales which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent breakfast and evening menus. Town centre is a short 5 minute walk. Overall we were very happy with our stay.“

„We had a great stay at the YHA Cotswolds (The Barrel Store) and would highly recommend the accommodation! „Very friendly personal welcome - very personal touches - definitely worth staying - very rural. Definitely value for money and with a shared bathroom (there was 2 between 4 rooms getting access to a bathroom was never an issue). Would definitely stay again.“
