„Vanderkamp was the ideal setting for small family 50th Anniversay celebration. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, we were able to be outside for 2 of our 4 days – hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing, and playing yard games. Off the dock it was very weedy and mucky, but it was fun to watch the fish and snakes. Inside there was ample room to either be together or find quiet places to read or relax. „This was an amazing overnight stay! So much better than we were expecting to enjoy it. The lions, all 4, were in front of our window for almost the entire stay, both in the afternoon/night and again in the morning before leaving. To have them lounging, playing, sleeping, grooming right in front of the window with literally your hand separating them from you by plexiglass is unforgettable. „Amazing from start to finish. Took my gf here for her birthday. Jaw dropping experience. Incredibly unique. The bungalow was clean, way bigger than I expected and just beautiful. The animals were active. Got great photos. Firepit and s’mores were a bonus. 10/10“
