„The property was well maintained. It showed a bit wear with the age but it was very clean so that wasn't a factor at all. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but was kept well stocked. Coffee was really good as was the apple juice. Rooms were very comfortable and large. “

„Super friendly staff , well appointed , quiet , clean. Simply perfect . Booked for 3 - at other hotels we often have to ask for towels for our third guest . Not here :-). Room was all set up for extra guest and even had a hand towel and facecloth each . A+++++ well done “

„After staying at the Crowne Plaza for the past 19 years and the last time 6 years ago it was again renovated. But it looks like kind of sloppy, and some of the Design choices were nauseating ( look at the picts). But the room was clean, the bathroom brand new. The new restaurant, Al‘s Table was better than the one before, but a bit understaffed. An experience you find also elsewhere. Food was fine, only the Cornbread, a southern staple, was underwhelming. „We stayed here twice. Each time to attend a medical appointment at U of L Hospital the next morning. We have a long drive, and coming the day before reduces a lot of stress. This hotel was just what we needed. Clean, safe, easy parking, staff was helpful to our needs and my husband's support dog was welcome. Easy checkout and very short drive to hospital.“

„The staff was very helpful, the front desk made our family feel welcome and even joked with the kids (10&11). Breakfast was a good variety and had healthy vegan options as well. Everything was presented up front and there were no surprises. Quiet even though right by the highway, you could not hear outside until it rained. “

„I liked the flair and style of The Brown. The preserved elegance of the Twenties. But although the modern amenities like USB outlets and coffeemaker in the room. The staff at the reception, restaurant and Graham's Cafe were friendly and welcoming. It was so wonderful to sit down at a table decked out in white tablelinen, clean shiny silverware and linen napkin, sipping a glass of Chianti while listening to live piano music. “
