„Das Hotel an und für sich ist ein gutes Hotel, was die Lage, das Restaurant, das meiste Personal und den schönen Garten angeht. Eher enttäuschend für ein Vierstern-Hotel war das Standard Doppelzimmer, das ich zum Glück allein gebucht hatte. Standard Zimmer sind immer eher klein, doch Zimmer 22 war so eng und vollgestopft, dass der Platz nicht einmal für einen normalen Stuhl sondern nur für einen Holzhocker reichte. Für zwei Nächte gerade erträglich.“

„The property was undergoing a significant renovation thus the only reason we didn’t give it an excellent condition. Although what wasn’t impacted by the renovation was top tier. Would love to return after the renovation to see the updated manor. The staff was excellent, with special note to the chef and server Jenny (sp?) and her trainee. “

Excellent location for exploring the lovely Cotswolds village of Chipping Campden; walking the nearby trails; or heading off for short drives to Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters and more.
