So, this will be a super candid review. The food at the Lapa Lapa… great and the customer service …superb! The included breakfast can get a little boring after a few days but nonetheless.
The view, 10/10!
The room? The bed was rock solid but somehow I managed to score 100% on my Hume band?? The room, not fancy. The bathroom? Subpar. The sink, a little stinky? We did couldn’t bare the smell. But they are containers, think I was expecting a more resort like setting, but the hammocks outside and the pools were great. You’re literally outside the sand.
The guards and the men working there were so helpful and nice, always had a smile on their face.
The check in process? Needs more structure and maybe an extra fee for early check in … they literally waited for the dot- in Mexico and other places they seem more understanding and accommodating,
Overall, don’t expect a Boho boutique stay, expect a decent stay. You have great beach access and the surf is great. For the price comparison, it’s fine. Safety … 10/10 and sometimes that matters most. Anyhow … help this helps! If you can afford something higher .,, they had other options but would probably return and have more reasonable expectations. Again not a bad stay, just went in w super high expectations of the room itself.
