Gut: Sauberkeit
The cabin was well maintained & stocked with toiletries and dishes. We also enjoyed that it was pet friendly and loved the hot tub! With that said…we would like to point out that the surrounding area is very scary and run down! There is no cell service or WiFi! You had to drive about 15 mins into “town” to find a gas station where you could get cell service. (We were unaware of this until we got the directions the day before our trip on how to access the property) thank god there was a landline in the cabin and that made us a little less uneasy in case of an emergency! The closest “grocery store” was a dollar general about 25 mins out. The one night where we had a frost advisory we went without heat because there was no mode button on the unit to turn it from ac to heat. We finally figured that out after freezing all night. This is not necessarily the owners fault (user error and we most likely could have called him for help) we would just say this listing is very vague and doesn’t mention any of this, we feel this place wasn’t worth the amount charged!
