The rooms were not cleaned properly, and the overall standard of health and safety needs to be re-evaluated. The shower, toilet, and sink areas were visibly dirty and showed clear signs of prior use. When I pulled back the sheets, I found hair in the bed, which was unacceptable.
After reporting the issue, Shubh kindly relocated me to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was also unsatisfactory. The paint on the bathroom wall was chipping and scattered across the floor. The room smelled strongly of marijuana, and there was built-up grime lining the shower.
For a hotel that serves military personnel during drill weekends, the cleanliness standards are far below what should be expected. We do not pay to sleep in such conditions, and I urge management to address these issues immediately for the sake of all future guests.
