„Alles sauber, sehr nettes Personal, Frühstück war sehr lecker - auch Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder :) “

„Typisch gemütliches Pub aber mit allem Komfort und ausgezeichnetem Restaurant“

„A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.“

„Friendly staff, good pub attached with good food. Breakfast was tasty but did take a while to arrive (30mins). Room was clean, but tired and in need of some repairs (bathroom doorframe and main light fittings). Good place for an overnight stop.“

„Loud. Incredibly loud. First, they gave no indication that the room I was staying in opened directly onto the street. The door lock was strange, perhaps just something I'm not used to, but I struggled with ensuring that it was locked during the night. (I work in a technical field, I'm not dim, but jeez, I felt stupid) Considering people milling around outside the pub at night were quite drunk, shouty, and possessed of questionable decision making, I ended up putting a chair in front of the door ...

„Freundlicher Sevice an Rezeption und in der Gastronomie. Reibungsloser Ablauf. Leckeres Abendessen. Gutes englisches Frühstück. Grosses Zimmer mit Bad und WC. Etwas abgewohnt, aber alles funktionstüchtig. Wasserkocher. Tee, Kaffee, Bisquit. Angenehme Kissen und Bettdecke. An Durchgangsstrasse. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge gut geeignet.“

„If you are worried about buget, then this place will do!“

„Essen-Top, Bedienung-Top, Chef und Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer-klein aber fein“

„Sehr schön ausgestattetes originelles kleines Hotel / Restaurant; sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal; schönes Zimmer mit Bad - lediglich das Waschbecken hätte etwas größer sein dürfen. Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände vorhanden. Leckeres Essen.

„Over all not the stay we were hoping for. The carvery roast and breakfast was good and the staff were nice. But the spa was not included in the room cost as described making it not worth £148 a night, the 4 poster bed was not as described in the online photos and the bedroom window opens up over another rooms private hot tub where they allow other guests to smoke all night filling our room with smoke.“

„Friendly welcome, nice dinner znd breakfast buffet. Great seating area with playground for kids nd table tennis, will come back in summer “
