„This ranks in the top five places we’ve ever stayed! Very comfortable guest house and the grounds were absolutely awesome!!! Several miles of trails with benches along the way. We highly recommend!!!! There are three cabins on the property that can be rented for a gathering of family and friends. This is also a lovely event space for weddings and larger gatherings. Not far from the Town of Rutherfordton and less than an hour from Tryon Equestrian Center.We will definitely return! “

„My boyfriend and his parents stayed here for a trail run we had in town. We all thought the protest was exactly as it shows online. It was clean and easy to get in and out of. Very close to the town and would definitely recommend. Will stay here again when coming back to town! Only thing we would mention, was that outside by the fenced in portion, there’s no lights (like a flood light) so taking the dog out to the bathroom at night we used our phone flash light. „The house is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, and it is a natural paradise. Everything inside and out is so well thought out and maintained. The attention to detail and personal touches are so appreciated. The home is immaculate and well stocked. And the best part is the level of attention Bess, our gracious host, gives to her guests. “

„Perfect stopping place while traveling. Easy to get to, close to 85, safe and quiet place, comfortable, and fully stocked. Huge bonus seeing the animals in the morning before getting on the road again! “

„Great historical farm! There was some minor leaks during heavy rain. Nice large kitchen. Most everything you need for an extended stay!“

„The house was very well appointed and clean, appreciated the nice linens and sheets. Kitchen had everything you would need. Also thankful for coffee and teas that were provided, nice touch! Back patio was awesome, ate a door dash breakfast out there! Floors are a little “wonky “ but the amenities certainly made up for it. Would recommend!“

„My Dad and I enjoyed our time in this old farm house. Kitchen was nicely updated and especially enjoyed relaxing in the living room. “

„Doug was super responsive and quick to answer any and all questions. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful views all around. My kids enjoyed feeding the cows and hanging out on the porch. The house felt very personal and lived in which made it a bit uncomfortable. However, it provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We made lots of memories and overall had a great time.“
