Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom holiday home, which is 4 miles from Chathill, offers five bathrooms, a wood burner and six Smart TVs to ensure comfort and pleasure throughout your memorable stay. Spend sunny days on the coast: the open sands of Linkhouse Beach are 8 miles away, while Beadnell Bay is 9 miles from the barn. Head into Seahouses, 8.5 miles away, to enjoy the sea and sand here or to take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands, looking out for dolphins and puffins as you go. Walk 3 miles along the beach from Seahouses to visit the dramatic castle at Bamburgh. Venture into Alnwick, 9.5 miles away, to shop, dine out and see the castle that featured as Hogwarts School in some of the Harry Potter movies.

Enter the impressive barn, which has underfloor heating, to find a holiday home with a warm welcome and ample space for everyone to make themselves comfortable. Hang your coats and leave your footwear in the corner of the first lounge, where you can congregate to discuss your day. Amble on into the hall to discover three of your beautiful bedrooms, all of which have Smart TVs and en-suite shower rooms. Two of these are king-size, one with a door to the front patio. The other is a super-king-size, with zip-and-link beds that can be made into a twin if discussed at booking, and a shower with a grab rail for increased accessibility. There is also a utility room with laundry facilities at this level. Make your way up to the first floor of the barn, pausing perhaps for a few quiet moments to yourself with a book from the shelves in the reading area. The family bathroom, with its luxurious, extra-large spa bath, is also here. Wander through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its characterful sloped ceilings and skylight windows. Here, you can sink back into the soft seating in front of another Smart TV and a crackling wood burner. There is a good-sized dining table here too, for your holiday meals. The large kitchen has been fitted out to ensure smooth self-catering and has a central island and breakfast bar where you can chat to the chef in your party over a cup of fresh coffee from the machine. The twin bedroom, with its en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, is also on this floor.

The magnificent garden at the barn is a true highlight of this exceptional holiday home. Spend as much time as possible out here, relaxing on the patio, basking beside the chiminea under the stars and admiring the koi carp in the fenced pond. The garden is also a wonderful spot for wildlife lovers, with plenty of birds to watch and the occasional rabbit hopping by. Play games with the children on the lawn, enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the rear garden, and head off on country walks from the rear gate. There is private, off-road parking for two cars, plus some additional space for visitors, subject to availability.
