„We had the 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our family. All amenities well thought of. Place was walking distance into St Emillion. Eduard was available and communicative throughout the stay. The late checkout was a godsend for us too!“

„Very nice location, quiet, with fair pricing. Dog friendly. The staff was friendly. For a „wine location“ maybe a bit limited in open wines and possibilities to taste wine on higher level ( mainly the own ones). I was also missing a bit expertise as it should have been the entry for Bordeaux. “

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. „Badon Boutique is an excellent place to stay in St Emilion, Staff were so helpful, Parking is a real problem in this very popular tourist town but there is spacious parking albeit having to navigate beforehand through the narrow cobbled streets.There are wine shops all around you, including their own. „Auf unserer kurzen Weinreise ins Bordeaux haben wir die erste Nacht in St. Emilion verbracht. Das Städtchen konnte mit dem Auto bequem in ein paar Minuten erreicht werden. Das Zimmer war für ein Ibis schon fast geräumig. Es war auch überraschend ruhig. Nur wenn Personen auf dem Gang wirklich laut gesprochen haben, hörte man es gut. Zudem ist der - für Frankreich eher untypische - starke Wasserdruck der Duschbrause auch positiv zu erwähnen.“
