„Christophe and Christine the property managers were very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and chateaus to visit. The breakfasts each morning were incredible: fresh baked croissants and bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs made to preference. The location nestled in among the vineyards was picturesque and very quiet. The total experience far exceeded our expectations and I hope we can make a return trip.“

„Tolle Unterkunft, sehr gediegen, sehr gemütlich. Tolle Zimmer und super Frühstück. Mit Gepäck allerdings schwer zu erreichen, kein Parkplatz vorhanden. Die Lage im Ort aber zentral, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Unbedingt im Restaurant reservieren!“

The location is convenient to everything we wanted to explore in Saint-Emilion, while offering a quiet secluded feel as well. Great design, gorgeous view of vineyards & delicious breakfast. We also enjoyed the wine tasting & tour of vineyard! 10/10 experience and will be sure to recommend to our friends back home.“

„Die Unterkunft liegt zwischen einer malerischen Weinberglandschaft. Die Familie stellt seit mehrere Generationen Wein her, den wir gleich zur Begrüßung probieren durften. Sandrine ist herzlich und betreibt einen hohen Aufwand für das perfekte Frühstück. Nie gibt es dasselbe Frühstück wie am Vortag. “

„Unterbringung war zwar im Nebengebäude, dafür Frühstück im Hauptgebäude. Hübsch renoviert. Hatten Küche/ Gemeinschaftsraum dazu. Weingut gehört zum Chateau, Möglichkeit der Besichtigung während der Weinlese wurde ermöglicht, auch Wein zu bestellen und liefern zu lassen - sehr professionell!“

„We didn’t stay at the property although we had booked it. It was difficult to find and the signage once we did arrive to the correct place was not clear. On. Pointing this out to the owner he took great offence rather than accepting a little feedback. He accused us of not arriving on time, when no time had been agreed, yet we were there at 4:30pm when arrivals were from 3pm. I won’t go into the rest of the conversation, but we left to find alternative accommodation. As this place had good ...

„The Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent. “
