Rural fun close to everything in Charlotte.

See wildlife on 2 private acres with fire pits, porches & 10-20 minutes from everything. This is a studio style house w/ a bed and a futon. Huge driveway. Country feel while close uptown. Uber: $20-30 in all directions. Lounge in a hammock & listen to the birds. There is a detached house in front of this one that you can rent as well. Sometimes it is rented to other guests but we have never had a privacy issue for either party. The old road is bumpy but safe and pretty. Drive slow and enjoy.
The space
The SpaceClose to nature and society: US Whitewater center, raptor center, Latta plantation, mountain island lake and lake Norman and much more for outdoorsy stuff. DClose to uptown, plaza midwood, noda, south end, university area and lots of breweries for food and fun.

Reminder: it is an open studio floor plan. The queen bed and the futon couch are in the same room.

NOTE: The photos show Mountain Island lake which is just up the road. It is not accessible by walking from the house. We do have a 10 minute trail walk to a nice creek but the lake requires driving or bicycling.

ALSO NOTE: There is an outdoor cat as seen in the photos. If you are allergic, we can get him out of the screened in porch area for you. Just let us know in advance!

Massive parking area. Can hold trailers, campers, large work vehicles etc.
Other things to note
All the common area outside - the decks, the screened in porch, fire pits are yours to use.
