„Loved this cottage for its beautiful yard (esp. hydrangeas and field), glorious views from the master bedroom and proximity to the West Quoddy State Park. The trails at Quoddy were superb and the striped lighthouse was a bonus (go for a sunset!). Campobello Island in Canada is nearby. „We decided on a peaceful, far away, get away for our 28th wedding anniversary. We also needed accommodations for our dog. We found the "Mainely Cabin" and it was essentially perfect. This is a tranquil place directly on the bay. The beach is accessible by stairs. We are avid kayakers. I was planning to bring ours but discovered that I could use our hosts' kayaks. Perfect because the stairs leading to the beach are about a 20 second walk from the cabin's front door and the kayaks are stored ...
