„met here for a family gathering elsewhere in the town. this is the perfect home for a couple with another or a kid or two. the view of the river is awesome and the wildlife was abundant. the owners were easy to work with. the only caveat would be if you have trouble with steps all the rooms are on the second floor so this is a consideration for some people with mobility issues I would suppose. “

„We stayed here for three days and overall, it was a mostly positive experience. The home is comfortable and clean and recently updated. The host was very responsive and kind. The location is very close to downtown. My only real complaint is that it is literally right across the street from a set of railroad tracks. It didn't really bother us but I always use earplugs when sleeping away from home. With those in, I didn't hear a thing but others might be bothered by the noise as trains do pass ...

„As you descend down the drive you become absorbed into tranquility. You immediately realize that this is your chance to become one with nature. The drive opens to the cabin and pond. You spend your team surrounded by nothing but nature. It was just what we needed and we got some amazing pictures and have some phenomenal memories to take us until our next adventure. Would definitely stay here again.“

„This home had so much to offer! One weekend was not enough time to enjoy everything. Newly and beautifully remodeled with the magnificent Mississippi as the focus. The owners were very eager to make sure our time there was the best they could make it. We are a little reluctant to provide such a good review because our group of 8 ladies definitely want to return in the future & want to make sure there is some availability left for us!!“

„The cabin was less roomy than pictures suggested. Definitely not a disappointment, tho. The hanging beds were a concern that I would need Dramamine! lol But they were so very comfortable. Previous reviews about cleanliness gave me pause when reserving this location, but my experience was that it is an older cabin and cleanliness was as you'd expect for the age of the home. „Kelly is wonderful. Very kind and understanding. I was concerned that the neighborood on the dock might be a whoop-it-up loud all-night-long kind of party crowd (and I am VERY boring), but everyone was going-out-of-their way charming and kind. Overall - it was lovely. Highly recommend it. Perfect getaway. “
