„The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.“

„The interior of the house was beautiful. Excellent and very clean. However, the exterior could use some TLC but it could possibly be because it was spring and it's location. Our only negative was we all found the beds to be uncomfortable.“

„We enjoyed a long weekend at the cabin for a girls trip. Was everything we needed and wanted and the perfect space for 3 adults. We spent a lot of time at the cabin and felt very comfortable, we also took the short walk to the river for a quick swim and we went out to explore Harper's Ferry and Shepherdstown which were both an easy drive away (maybe 10 -20 minutes from the cabin depending). Hosts were gracious and very quickly responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend this cabin!“

„Didn’t know what to expect, but regardless I was blown away. The place is VERY well furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It was the perfect place to come back home to and relax after a long day. The owner was also amazing, she left a few chocolates and a welcome note. She was also an amazing communicator, I didn’t need too many things, but the things I did need, she accommodated instantly. 10/10, this place is phenomenal “

„We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run ...

„My husband and I stayed at Tim’s cottage in middleburg for one night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Tim had left a bottle of champagne and chocolate cake for us since he knew it was our anniversary, which was an incredibly thoughtful and kind gesture. The cottage was clean, cute and cozy and the location was incredibly convenient to wineries, breweries and downtown Middleburg. It was truly a staycation to remember!“

„Nice quiet place. Nice new deck. Good location. Helpful owners. The only downside was the hot tub water was not clean on arrival. Did not use. Recommend to owner to instruct renters to add cleaning solution upon arrival if that’s what is required for it to be usable. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.“

„The cottage was everything it says it is and more! As you enter the front door and take your first look around you will know right away, you made the right choice. It’s just far enough and close enough. The cottage is close enough to the vineyards, the stores, restaurants and other points of interest and just far enough to feel you are in an entirely different world. To us, it was a wonderful visit and definitely on our list for a repeat.“

„The Cottage on King is compact, well-outfitted and lovely. It is walking distance of older Leesburg with parks and the W&OD Trail that runs from Shirlington to Purcellville, great for bikes and walking. There are wineries and much else in the surrounding area, and Leesburg has many interesting shops and great restaurants. My friend and I think we will rent this cottage again. We might even bring our spouses.“
